2001 Dodge Intrepid ES, finished in blue and custom multi-colors with a black interior. This Intrepid is a one-off example that was given custom paintwork as part of a promotion with the opening of the Chicagoland Speedway in 2001; it was also shown at the Chicago Museum of Contemporary Art. Equipment includes 16-inch alloy wheels, fog lights, leather upholstery, power-adjustable front seats, power windows and locks, a multifunction steering wheel, an AM/FM/CD/cassette stereo with Infinity sound, and more as detailed below. Modifications reported by the seller are limited to the custom paintwork along with some exterior decals.Dodge introduced the Intrepid in 1993 as another member of the cab-forward "LH" platform, and it was the largest sedan offered by the marque at the time. The second-generation came online in 1998, and the car became popular with commercial and government entities looking for a roomy and dependable sedan. The platform was also used in Nascar racing beginning in 2001.Power comes from a 3.2-liter DOHC V6, rated at 222 horsepower and 222 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the front wheels through a 4-speed automatic transmission.
