Road testers went mad: GMC had built a truck capable of outsprinting a Chevrolet Corvette. Production ended in 1993 after about 4,700 units were made.Power comes from a 4.3-liter turbocharged "Vortec" V6, rated at approximately 280 horsepower and 360 lb-ft of torque. Called "LB4" internally, it sends output to all four wheels through a 4-speed automatic transmission.
