Factory equipment includes a removable fiberglass hardtop, 4-speed manual transmission, full metal doors, manual door locks, manual windows, and vinyl upholstery. The CJ-7 was in production from 1976 to 1986 and features a 10-inch longer wheelbase than the CJ-5. Special editions of the CJ-7 include the Golden Eagle, Renegade, and Laredo. Over 375,000 models of the CJ-7 were produced over the 11-year model run.Power comes from a 2.5-liter inline-4 SureFire engine, which produces approximately 105 horsepower and 132 lb-ft of torque. The engine is mated to a 4-speed manual transmission and a 4-wheel drive system with a 2-speed transfer case that spins the rear or all four wheels.
