This engine provides more torque and power than the stock engine and was completely rebuilt during the time of the frame-off restoration.The Powerglide transmission has been upgraded to a 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission (Pontiac 200-4R) allowing the car to cruise down the road at modern-day speeds with ease.The car maintains thestock jumbo drum brakes which stops the vehicle easily.
