No modifications have been reported by the seller.Called "E88" internally, the 1 Series Convertible was introduced to the American market for 2008 as BMW's driving-focused entry-level model. It was one of the last BMWs powered by a naturally-aspirated straight-6, and one of the last without the iDrive infotainment system. This 128i also received a Super Ultra-Low Emissions Vehicle (SULEV) designation, meaning it produces 90% fewer emissions than the average gasoline-powered vehicle. BMW achieved this with a lower compression cylinder head, altered crankcase ventilation valve, a DISA intake manifold, and different catalytic converters. Power for this 128i comes from an "N51" 3.0-liter straight-6, which produces 230 horsepower and 200 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission.
