Product Details

1997 Lexus LS 400 Coach Edition, finished in Silver Jade Metallic with a Cypress interior. According to the window sticker provided in the gallery, this LS 400 had an original MSRP of $56,833, and it came equipped with the Coach Edition package, power-operated windows, mirrors, and locks, remote entry, a Lexus/Nakamichi premium audio system, and cruise control. The selling dealer reports no modifications.Lexus released the second-generation LS for 1996. It looked a lot like its predecessor when viewed from the outside. Lexus chose not to drastically change the exterior design because the original model was so well received -- but it gained a more spacious interior, a slightly longer wheelbase, and a more powerful V8 engine. Production ended in 2000.Lexus teamed up with the American fashion giant Coach for the 1997 model year to produce a limited run of 2,500 LS 400 Coach Editions. The resulting product was a range-topping LS 400 embellished with Coach leather upholstery and logos around the interior, and unique Champagne Pearl-colored exterior badging.Power comes from a "1UZ-FE" 4.0-liter V8, rated at 260 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the rear wheels via a 4-speed automatic transmission.
