Finished in Black Sapphire Metallic with a black Nappa leather interior. According to the window sticker pictured in the photo gallery, this M Roadster had an original MSRP of $58,270 and featured the Premium Package, which added power seats, cruise control, a premium sound system, and auto-dimming mirrors, among other features. It also comes fitted with the optional navigation system. Modifications are limited to M-colored slats in the driver's side kidney grille.Compared to the regular Z4, the M Roadster had larger wheels (18x8-inch front and 18x9-inch rear), a wider front track, larger cross-drilled and vented brake rotors, an M Differential Lock, specific lower control arms and steering knuckles, uniquely tuned springs and dampers, and hydraulic rather than electric power steering.The first-generation Z4, called E85 internally, replaced the Z3 for the 2003 model year. It was one of the first BMW models styled under the guidance of Chris Bangle so it shared no styling cues with its predecessor. At the top of the line was the M Roadster, which used the 3.2-liter engine from the M3, with double-VANOS variable valve timing. Power comes from a 3.2-liter "S54" inline-6 engine, which produces 330 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission.
