1991 Toyota Sera, finished in Burnt Orange with a gray interior. This Sera is a Japanese-spec, right-hand-drive car. Said to be imported from Japan in 2018, it's equipped with a metric instrument cluster, and the odometer shows about 158,000 kilometers, which represents approximately 98,200 miles. Equipment includes 14-inch wheels, butterfly doors, a rear roof and deck lid spoiler, cloth upholstery, power windows and locks, air conditioning, and more as detailed below. Modifications reported by the seller are limited to a set of aftermarket auxiliary driving lights and an aftermarket stereo and speaker system.Japan's bubble-era produced a number of wild automotive designs, and the Sera was positioned near the top of that heap with its bubble canopy, large glass hatch, and of course its iconic butterfly doors that are claimed to have inspired the McLaren F1's portals. Despite the model's outrageous looks, Paseo/Starlet underpinnings mean that servicing and part-sourcing are relatively easy affairs. Production ended in 1995.
