1994 Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1, finished in Dark Red Metallic with a black interior. This is an American-spec Corvette that was imported to Canada in 2007. Its odometer displays about 2,800 miles, which represents approximately 4,400 kilometers, and it can be set to display either unit. Factory equipment includes 17-inch wheels, a Selective Ride Control suspension system, a limited-slip differential, pop-up headlights, glass and body-colored removable roof panels, leather upholstery, power-adjustable seats, and a Bose sound system. The only modifications reported by the seller are a Billy Boat exhaust system and tinted windows. The factory exhaust system is shown in the gallery and included in the sale.The original Corvette ZR-1 was codenamed "King of the Hill" while it was in development. Designed jointly with Lotus under GM's ownership, the ZR-1 was positioned to compete with more expensive supercars from the likes of Ferrari and Lamborghini. It was a successful experiment that earned unanimous praise from the automotive press of the period as one of the best American sports cars to date.Power comes from a 5.7-liter "LT5" V8 engine, rated at 375 horsepower and 370 lb-ft of torque. It spins the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission.
