Product Details

1999 BMW M3 Coupe, finished in Titanium Silver with a black interior. This E36 features the desirable 5-speed manual transmission. The odometer on this E36 currently displays approximately 83,200 miles.Factory equipment on this M3 includes a limited-slip differential, leather upholstery, "Vader" front sport seats, a Harman/Kardon sound system, and more as described below.Numerous modifications have been made to this E36 and highlights include a Dinan Stage 1 tune, an M50 intake manifold, Active Autowerke header, UUC Motorwerks muffler, Koni shocks, polyurethane suspension bushings, a ZHP weighted shift knob, and an Alcantara headliner. The "E36" generation of the iconic BMW M3 was the first M3 powered by an inline-6 engine. Originally, the United States was not slated to get an M3. After owners famously banded together and demanded one be made, BMW brought the M3 to the U.S. market with a de-tuned and simpler engine than the European M3 due to emissions restrictions. It was a major commercial success for BMW, and it cemented the BMW M brand in the U.S.Power comes from an "S52" 3.2-liter inline-6, which produces 240 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque in stock form. This engine may be making more power as a result of the Dinan tune, but a dyno sheet is not included. Output to the rear wheels is shuttled through a 5-speed manual gearbox.
