1996 GMC Sierra K1500 4x4, finished in blue with a tan interior. Modifications to this Sierra include a Dick Cepek Race Series lift kit, 35-inch General Grabber tires, and upgraded headlights and taillights, among other modifications detailed below.Introduced for the 1988 model year, the fourth generation C/K 1500 brought smaller cab dimensions than the previous generation "rounded line" trucks while increasing interior room. Called "GMT400" internally, the C/K 1500 was offered in several specialized variants, including the work-oriented W/T 1500, off-road Z71, and the high-performance 454SS. A range of engines and transmissions ensured the model remained competitive no matter the customer's needs, and the trucks continued to sell well throughout their production run.Power comes from a "Vortec" 5.7-liter V8, rated at 250 horsepower and 335 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels via a 4-speed automatic transmission.
