Extensively modified, this WRX STI is fitted with a "Tuff" engine block, JE 99.75-millimeter pistons, and H-Beam "Tuff" connecting rods from IAG Performance. The list of modifications reported by the seller also includes a Forced Performance "Green" turbocharger, a Mishimoto top-mounted intercooler, a COBB Tuning flex-fuel kit, COBB Tuning fuel injectors, a downpipe without a catalytic converter, a PERRIN Performance exhaust system, an aftermarket grille, an AEM Electronics air/fuel ratio gauge, and a Kenwood touchscreen.Factory equipment includes 18-inch wheels, a Brembo braking system, a driver-controlled center differential, a sunroof, leather upholstery, a power-adjustable driver's seat, and heated front seats.Subaru's WRX STI began in 1992 as the top performance model in the Impreza lineup. Launched for the 2015 model year, the "VA"-generation WRX and WRX STI were split from the Impreza that they were based on. They became standalone models, not merely sportier evolutions of a compact car, and their new identity was accompanied by a more muscular-looking design plus the assortment of engine and chassis tweaks fans expected. Production ended in 2021 and the WRX STI was not replaced.Power comes from a 2.5-liter turbocharged flat-4, rated at 305 horsepower and 290 lb-ft of torque when left stock. The seller states that the modifications increase horsepower to 475 at the wheels but a dyno sheet is not available. The engine spins the four wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission.
