All of them were finished in the special Hyper Blue exterior color and had a uniquely appointed interior that included Hyper Blue stitching and a frameless rearview mirror.Developed jointly by Toyota and Subaru, the first-generation BRZ was introduced for the 2013 model year. It was instantly celebrated as a reasonably affordable (and, as this build shows, highly tunable) coupe with excellent handling. It remained in production with a Subaru-sourced naturally-aspirated flat-4 engine — never with a turbo — until late 2020, when it passed the torch to the second-generation model.Power comes from a 2.0-liter flat-4 engine, rated at 205 horsepower and 156 lb-ft of torque in stock form. Due to the modifications performed to this Subaru, it may produce more power, but a dyno sheet was not provided to confirm. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission.
