The M3 differed from the standard E30 3-Series in its styling, flattened rear window, composite trunk lid, and spoiler, in addition of course to its revised suspension and high-revving S14 engine.Power comes from an "S14" 2.3-liter inline-4, which produces 192 horsepower and 170 lb-ft of torque. It spins the rear wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission.
