The M4 cuts weight by incorporating carbon fiber while delivering exciting performance from a twin-turbo straight-6 engine shared with the F80 M3 sedan.Power comes from an "S55" 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged inline-6, rated at 425 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque in stock form. This engine may be making more power as a result of the modifications, though a dyno sheet is not included. Output is sent to the rear wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission with steering-wheel-mounted shift paddles.
