2003 Lexus IS 300, finished in Absolutely Red with a tan interior. A window sticker is provided in the photo gallery showing that this IS 300 carried an MSRP of $33,903 when new, and a partial list of notable equipment includes the Leather/Escaine Value Package, a limited-slip differential, rear spoiler, HID headlights, heated front seats, brushed aluminum interior trim, AM/FM Cassette Stereo with 6-CD Changer, and automatic climate control. Modifications reported by the seller include a K&N air intake, 18-inch wheels from a later Lexus IS, a short antenna, tinted windows and windshield, Plasti Dip on the front grille and rear emblems, and an aftermarket remote start system. When Lexus came to take on the space dominated by the BMW 3-series, it equipped the IS 300 model with the stout 3-liter inline-6 from the non-turbo Toyota Supra, a compact rear-drive platform, and bold styling. The IS 300 was also available as a 5-door hatchback/sport wagon.Power comes from a "2JZ-GE" 3.0-liter inline-6, rated at 215 horsepower and 218 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the rear wheels via a 5-speed automatic transmission.
