Product Details

2012 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport Convertible, finished in Arctic White with a black top and a red interior. According to documentation provided to Cars & Bids, the original owner of this Corvette was country star Alan Jackson.A window sticker is provided in the photo gallery showing an MSRP of $74,790 when new. A partial list of notable equipment includes 18-inch front, 19-inch rear chrome wheels, Grand Sport-specific braking and suspension systems, a limited-slip differential, a dual-mode performance exhaust system, a Grand Sport body kit, two-tone heated leather seats, a head-up display, and a Bose audio system.Modifications are limited to a gloss black front spoiler and side skirts, and a Mild2Wild wireless exhaust control solenoid.Released for 2005, the sixth-generation Corvette kept its predecessor's proportions but featured an updated exterior design; it notably brought exposed headlights back to the range for the first time since 1962. The "C6" also gained an updated suspension system and a new engine. Production ended after the 2013 model year.Chevrolet launched the Grand Sport for 2010 to split the difference between the regular model and the Z06. At home on the road and on the track, it received several hand-me-downs from the Z06 (like bigger brakes) but wrapped them in a less hardcore package.Power comes from a 6.2-liter "LS3" V8 engine, rated at 436 horsepower and 428 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the rear wheels via a 6-speed automatic transmission.
