2002 Audi TT Quattro ALMS Edition, finished in Avus Silver Pearl Effect with a Brilliant Red interior. This TT features the desirable 6-speed manual transmission. A build sheet is provided in the photo gallery, and a partial list of notable equipment includes a sport suspension, a rear spoiler, Nappa leather upholstery, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, heated front seats, a Bose sound system, and cruise control. Modifications reported by the selling dealer are limited to aftermarket 19-inch wheels and side pinstripes.Previewed by a well-received concept car, the first-generation TT made its debut in America for the 2000 model year. It was initially offered as a coupe with either front- or all-wheel drive. Audi expanded the range with a roadster and a more powerful engine in 2001, and production ended after the 2006 model year with the introduction of the 2nd-generation TT.The ALMS Commemorative Edition was a limited-run model produced for 2002 only, built to celebrate Audi's success in the American Le Mans Series. A total of 1,000 were built; 500 in Misano Red Pearl Effect with Silver Gray Nappa leather and 500 in Avus Silver Pearl Effect with Brilliant Red Nappa leather. All were coupes with the 225-hp engine, a 6-speed manual gearbox, and Quattro all-wheel drive.Power comes from a 1.8-liter turbocharged inline-4, rated at 225 horsepower and 207 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to all 4 wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission and Audi's Quattro permanent all-wheel-drive system.
