1997 BMW M3 sedan, finished in Byzanz Metallic with a Magma leather interior. This M3 sedan features the desirable 5-speed manual transmission. According to the BMW forum Bimmerforums, this M3 is 1 of only 37 E36 M3's finished in rare Byzanz Metallic and is 1 of just 19 that were also equipped with a Magma leather interior. Its only modifications are a Sony head unit and ZKW headlights.The "E36" generation of the iconic BMW M3 was the first M3 powered by an inline-6 engine. Originally, the United States was not slated to get an M3. After owners famously banded together and demanded one be made, BMW brought the M3 to the U.S. market with a de-tuned and simpler engine than the European M3 due to emissions restrictions.
