2000 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am SLP Firehawk, finished in Pewter Metallic with a black interior. This Firehawk features the desirable 6-speed manual transmission, and the odometer currently indicates approximately 12,600 miles. Factory equipment on this Trans Am includes the rare Firehawk Package installed by SLP Engineering, several Firehawk options (like chromed wheels and an Auburn differential), removable roof panels, leather upholstery, and a Monsoon sound system with a graphic equalizer. Modifications include an Auto Meter Sport-Comp Monster tachometer and an aftermarket antenna.Pontiac released the fourth and final generation of the Firebird for the 1993 model year. Related to the Chevrolet Camaro, the Firebird received a sleeker-looking exterior design, a revised suspension system, and a host of mechanical improvements. 1994 brought a convertible, and a 1998 update included a 5.7-liter "LS1" V8. Production ended in 2002.Detroit-based SLP Engineering helped Pontiac extract more power out of the Firebird by developing the Firehawk Package. Offered throughout the 1990s and early 2000s, it included a composite hood, a forced-air induction system, and a cat-back stainless-steel exhaust system, among other upgrades. Pontiac positioned the Firehawk at the top of the Firebird line.According to an included production number document, 741 units of the Firehawk were built for 2000, and 106 of those were finished in Pewter Metallic.Power comes from a 5.7-liter "LS1" V8 engine, rated at 330 horsepower and 345 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission.
