The E92 335i was the first 3 Series to be turbocharged, marking a shift away from the high revving naturally aspirated motors that performance BMWs had been known for. This generation of BMW was also the first appearance of the iDrive system, an early version of today's multifunction media screens. Despite the E90 sedan ending production in 2011, the E92 coupe and E93 convertible remained in production until 2013 after which the 3 Series was no longer offered as a coupe.Power for this 335i comes from a 3.0-liter turbocharged straight-6, which produces 300 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque. The aforementioned modifications might increase these figures, but a dyno sheet is not available. Called "N55" internally, the engine spins the rear wheels via a 6-speed automatic transmission.
