1996 Mazda RX-7 JDM Hotboy Style. This FD3S boasts a custom paint job which entailed a full color change over to a deep purple.The body shows beautifully, all panels line up properly and the paint shows well with some imperfections.The doors are part of what makes this FD so unique.The traditional door hinge mechanism was replaced with Lambo style scissor doors which function properly.LED Underglow lights were added and brings this car to the old school Fast and Furious era.The Weds wheels are in excellent condition, free of rash or bends, and cap off the Hotboy era look. Mechanically, this FD3S is sorted. Cold starts are not an issue, free of unsuspecting noises. The Wankel engine sounds healthy, as it should. Boost comes on smooth, the twin-turbo set up was kept for simplicities sake. Power is enhanced by Apex'i intakes and custom exhaust. The suspension set up makes for a comfortable cruiser with added sportiness when needed. The car sits on a set of Tein coilovers and in reinforced by Cusco strut braces front and rear. The interior shows well very well and the Hotboy trend continues throughout highlighted by the reupholstered front seats. Seats are in good condition and could be a good candidate for a re-dye. Door cards are also in original condition, all switches work as they should. The dash is solid and remains in original condition. A/C works well, blows cold and consistently keeps the cabin cool.
