Subaru produced just 1,000 Launch Editions of the WRX STI for 2015, and all were finished in WR Blue Pearl with unique blue interior accents. The Launch Edition emphasized performance over comfort and was built on the lightest, most-basic version of the STI. Standard features on the Launch Edition included 18-inch gold-painted BBS forged alloy wheels, an STI short-throw shifter, and keyless entry and start systems.Factory equipment includes 18-inch forged aluminum wheels, Subaru Intelligent Drive (SI-Drive) with an adjustable limited-slip center differential, a functional hood scoop, fog lights, a rear wing spoiler, power-adjustable side mirrors, leather and Ultrasuede upholstery, simulated carbon fiber interior trim, heated front seats, a Vehicle Dynamics Control system with Active Torque Vectoring, and an automatic dual-zone climate control.
