1995 Toyota Land Cruiser, finished in Freeborn Red with a black soft top and a black interior. This is an 80-Series Land Cruiser fitted with an aluminum body manufactured by Aqualu. Built by Red Line Land Cruisers, it retains the 80's frame and engine but gains an FJ40-like front end, half doors, and a removable soft top. It's still registered as a 1995 Land Cruiser.Other aftermarket parts added to this Land Cruiser include 4.88 Sierra gears, an Aisin free wheel front hub kit, heavy-duty rear trailing arms, LED headlights, three rows of Corbeau seats, a Nardi steering wheel, a Dakota Digital instrument cluster, and DynaDeck flooring. The full list of modifications is provided below, and a build sheet is pictured in the gallery. Factory equipment includes a center locking differential and air conditioning.Released for 1991, the 80-Series is the first Land Cruiser to firmly plant its flag in the luxury segment. It was bigger than its predecessor, it gained a more aerodynamic design, and it offered better materials inside. It nonetheless kept what adventurers loved about the Land Cruiser: solid axles, a 2-speed transfer case, and a generous amount of ground clearance. It's on these stout foundations that Colorado-based Red Line Land Cruisers built this four-door FJ40 replica.Power comes from a 4.5-liter straight-6, rated at 212 horsepower and 275 lb-ft of torque. It spins the 4 wheels via a 4-speed automatic transmission and a 2-speed transfer case.
