Finished in Stratos Blue with a black interior. This Alpine GTA is equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission. The odometer on this Alpine reads in imperial units and currently displays approximately 17,400 miles. Factory equipment includes a rear-mounted, turbocharged engine, composite body panels, 15-inch turbine-style wheels, double-wishbone suspension and disc brakes at all four corners, air conditioning, and more as detailed below. Modifications are limited to a dash-mounted lap timer and a modern stereo. The GTA was launched in 1984 as a replacement for the A310, and though it retained the same basic shape as its predecessor, the GTA sported all-new composite bodywork and a more powerful iteration of the "PRV" V6 found in various Peugeot, Renault, and Volvo cars (and perhaps most famously, in the DeLorean DMC-12). Despite their somewhat clunky appearance, these cars were known to be good road handlers out of the box due to their 2,600-pound curb weight and independently-sprung, double-wishbone suspension.Power comes from a 2.5-liter turbocharged and intercooled V6, rated at 197 horsepower and 218 lb-ft of torque. Output is shuttled to the rear wheels through a 5-speed manual transmission.
