Product Details

1994 Mercedes-Benz E500, finished in Black Pearl Metallic with an anthracite interior. Factory equipment includes headlight wipers, fog lights, a sunroof, wood interior trim, leather upholstery, heated and power-adjustable front seats, a rear sunshade, a cassette player, and a 10-speaker sound system. This E500's build sheet is pictured in the gallery, and the only modifications reported by the selling dealer are a Performance Chip Tuning chip and a set of 16-inch wheels.Mercedes-Benz released the 500E for 1992 as a high-performance evolution of the W124. Developed jointly with (and partially built by) Porsche, the sedan received a V8 engine, several suspension upgrades, and a specific body kit characterized by flared fenders. 1994 brought a facelift and the E500 designation; it was also the car's last model year. 10,479 units of the 500E and E500 were sold globally, according to Mercedes-Benz. For context, over 2.5 million units of the W124 were built from 1985 to 1996.Power comes from a 5.0-liter V8, rated at 315 horsepower and 347 lb-ft of torque when left stock. The chip might increase those figures but a dyno sheet is not available. Called M119 internally, the engine spins the rear wheels via a 4-speed automatic transmission.
