2012 Mercedes-Benz S350 Bluetec, finished in Palladium Silver Metallic with a black and Anthracite leather interior. Unmodified, this S350 came from the factory equipped with 19-inch 5-spoke alloy wheels, leather upholstery, heated and ventilated Dynamic front seats, Parktronic including parking guidance, Distronic Plus adaptive cruise control, active blind spot assist, active lane-keeping assist, a Harman/Kardon sound system, and more. Offered from 2006 to 2013, the "W221" S-Class was lauded by the public and the press for its luxurious interior, its smooth ride, and the extensive list of tech features it offered. The model received a facelift for the 2010 model year that included minor cosmetic updates and several new driver assistance features. Several engine choices were offered, however, the S350 Bluetec's diesel powerplant was the most fuel-efficient in the range, returning an EPA-estimated 21 mpg city/31 mpg highway and 25 mpg combined.Power comes from an "OM642" 3.0-liter turbodiesel V6, which produces 240 horsepower and 455 lb-ft of torque. The engine spins all four wheels via a 7-speed automatic transmission and 4Matic all-wheel-drive system.
