Modifications reported are limited to a black aftermarket front lip spoiler, black Honda badges, an aftermarket shift knob, and a Pioneer head unit. The Honda S2000 (known as "AP1" internally) was introduced for the 2000 model year; its model designation references the engine's 2000cc displacement, and its per-liter output was the highest of any naturally aspirated regular-production car at the time.
