Description del vehiculo

1967 Ford F-350 Dump Truck. Single stage Rangoon Red is enhanced with white pinstriping and a cab top that is Wimbledon White. The doors previously had a business name painted on, so at some point they were repainted and therefore look fresher. An industrial grade grille fronts the truck and behind it, the familiar face of the '67 F-series truck with round headlights in square bezels flanking a horizontal grille that spans the face. Cab roof markers line up on top providing an amber crown at night so that others can see the truck coming. The stake sides are lined inside with plywood, also painted red and the back remains open. 16-inch 8 lug steel wheels are painted black, and a dual axle is out back. Overall, the truck presents with a general age patina but there are some great bones here and straight panels. Interior Bright red door panels are pretty sparse as you'd expect on a work truck built long before molded plastic bins and cupholders were a thing. The wide bench seat is covered with red crush vinyl and red bar patterned vinyl on the sitting surface in good condition with a small tear. A dark red steering wheel has some appropriate patina and a horn ring affixed to the center. In front, a nicely designed gauge cluster with a center trim piece emblazoned with Ford bisects the speedometer and the odometer along with other readouts to the side. Knobs and switches protrude from the red lower panel and an AM radio is joined by an added FM unit mounted below the dash, all showing a nice patina. The tall shifter is floor mounted and that floor is covered with a rubberized mat and some vintage looking rubber floor mats. A smooth vinyl headliner in a cream color rises above our head along with sun visors. Drivetrain Open the hood to find an unrestored engine bay featuring a 352ci V8 rated at 208 horsepower and fueled by a 2-barrel carburetor. A New Process NP435 4-speed manual transmission sets the truck in motion and sends power to the big rear axle where a Dana 70 with 4.10 gears are located. Power drum brakes are present on all four corners. Undercarriage Huge mud flaps provide the backdrop for external tail lights connected to the I-beam framework and while there's plenty of surface rust underneath, it's only surface rust and does not pose an immediate issue. It's a bit more pitted on the stock style muffler, but the single exhaust otherwise looks fine. There's some build up on the steering and suspension components where extra grease from lube jobs would pick up road dirt, but nothing is broken amongst the robust parts. Radius arm and coil springs make up the front suspension while big leaf springs make up the rear. Drive-Ability The comfortable cab brings to life a lively V8 with plenty of torque to push this truck out of our garage and onto the test loop. There's a ton of real estate behind us with the bed and we are able to see all the way to the back due to the low front bed wall and open rear. Meanwhile, the truck tracks well and we mind its width as we traverse through the garage opening and our front gate.
