It followed its segment's shift towards technology and luxury by offering enthusiasts a longer list of equipment than its predecessor, including a power button and configurable driving modes. Production ended in 2010, and BMW hasn't released another V10-powered M5 since.Power comes from an "S85" 5.0-liter V10, rated at 500 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque. It spins the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission.
