1988 BMW M6 One of 319 for U S Market. Automatic air conditioning with an additional rear system keeps the cabin at optimal temperature. Intermittent windshield wipers feature heated washer jets for all-weather vision. The M-group added a 5-speed manual gearbox, sport-tuned suspension, limited-slip rear differential and larger 4-wheel vented disc brakes with anti-lock technology to finish the M6 package. The 3.5-liter inline 6-cylinder engine packs a dual-overhead camshaft 24-valve cylinder head for 256 HP at 6,500 RPM and 243 lb-ft of torque at 4,500 RPM.
