1992 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution I GSR, finished in green with a gray interior. This Evo is a Japanese-spec, right-hand-drive sedan. Mitsubishi launched the first-generation Lancer Evolution in 1992 exclusively for the Japanese market to homologate its Group A rally car in WRC. The combination of the Lancer body with the Galant VR-4’s turbocharged engine and AWD system proved immensely popular as it provided eye-opening performance from a small-sized four-door sedan, giving birth to the legend of the "Evo". Mitsubishi offered the Lancer Evolution I in stripped-out RS and as well-equipped GSR variants. This Lancer Evo is a GSR.Power comes from a “4G63” 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, rated at 244 horsepower and 228 lb-ft of torque.
