Description del vehiculo

1986 Jaguar XJ6 Vanden Plas finished in black with a Creme leather interior. Factory equipment includes 15-inch Kent alloy wheels, a sunroof, automatic climate control, radio with cassette player, dual fuel tanks, burl walnut trimmed interior, and Connolly leather upholstery, among other standard and optional equipment. The Series III Jaguar XJ received cosmetic and mechanical updates for the 1979 model year. The exterior was subtly re-imagined by legendary designer Pininfarina, and the 12-cylinder and larger 6-cylinder motors now used Bosch fuel injection instead of the carburetors of years past. Production ended in early 1987, when the Series III 6-cylinder models were replaced by the new XJ40 model, though Series III 12-cylinder models remained available until 1992.The Vanden Plas trim-level was introduced in 1982 for the U.S. market, and the moniker denoted special metallic paint colors, hand-painted coach stripes, a burl walnut trimmed interior, and swiveling rear compartment reading lamps. The interior was upholstered in Connolly leather and the rear bench seat swapped for two individual buckets with a fold-down center armrest. Power comes from a 4.2-liter inline-6 engine, rated at 176 horsepower and 219 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the rear wheels via a 3-speed automatic transmission.
