Limited to 200 cars for 2008, the 428R gained several performance and visual modifications detailed below and in a window sticker. This car is number 143, according to a plaque in the engine bay, and it comes with a certificate of authenticity. This 428R started life as a Mustang GT Deluxe. Modifications made to this 428R include a Cervinis hood, tinted windows, and 4.10 gears in the rear end. The factory hood and rear-end gears are included in the sale. Company founder Jack Roush is shown signing this car's radiator cover and dashboard in the gallery.Called "S197" internally, the 5th-generation Mustang launched for 2005 with a heritage-laced design, a new platform, and an available 24-valve V8 engine. Extending the wheelbase gave the Mustang a much more compliant ride than its predecessor. Production ended in 2014, and the "S197" passed the Pony Car torch to the current-generation Mustang.Power comes from a supercharged 4.6-liter V8, rated at 435 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque.
