2001 Audi S4 Avant, finished in Pearl White with an Onyx Black leather interior. According to Audi of America, this S4 Avant is 1 of 15 Pearl White examples with a Tiptronic transmission produced for the 2001 model year. Factory equipment on this S4 includes Quattro all-wheel drive, a torsen center differential, heated and power adjustable front seats, and a sunroof, among other standard and optional equipment. Modifications include a Bilstein B12 Cup kit, Kenwood touch screen head unit, and an RS4 honeycomb front grille. Released in Europe in 1997, the second-generation S4 brought Audi much closer to the performance mainstream. It wore a relatively subtle design, but it offered enthusiasts a powerful turbocharged engine, correspondingly big brakes, and all-wheel-drive. It received rave reviews from the press when it landed in America for the 2000 model year.Power for this S4 comes from a 2.7-liter "Biturbo" V6, rated at 250 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to all four wheels via a 5-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission.
