1996 VW Golf Harlequin, finished in a base Ginster Yellow with Pistachio Green, Tornado Red, and Chagall Blue body panels, and a gray Joker interior. This Golf is one of less than 300 Harlequin special edition models offered exclusively in the North American market. VW had to paint 4 Golf cars as a whole in either Ginster Yellow, Pistachio Green, Tornado Red, or Chagall Blue and then exchange body panels by hand to create this special edition. Modifications reported by the seller include a 2.8-liter VR6 engine and 5-speed manual transmission swap, 17-inch aftermarket wheels, Hella Magic Green taillights, and more, as detailed below.Factory equipment includes dual front airbags, air conditioning, manual windows, and more as listed below.Volkswagen brought the third-generation Golf to America in 1993. Bigger than its predecessor, it gained a more aerodynamic exterior design and a number of chassis modifications that improved handling.Power comes from a 2.8-liter V6, rated at 172 horsepower and 173 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the front wheels through a 5-speed manual transmission.
