Finished in red with a beige and brown cloth interior. This Impulse is equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes 14-inch alloy wheels, pop-up headlamps, a rear lip spoiler, cloth upholstery, power windows and locks, an AM/FM/Cassette radio with 7-band analog equalizer, air conditioning, cruise control, and more as detailed below. Modifications reported by the seller include later-model headlamp modules, an HKS air cleaner element, and a custom high-flow exhaust system with catalytic converter. The Giugiaro-designed Impulse (renamed the Piazza overseas) was produced from 1981 to 1993 across two generations. Initially-powered by a wheezy SOHC I4, eventually the Impulse gained a turbocharged engine which upped power numbers significantly. Isuzu also managed to leverage parent company GM's ownership in Lotus to obtain a sport-tuned suspension from the legendary British marque. Power comes from a turbocharged and intercooled 2.0-liter inline-4, rated at 140 horsepower and 166 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the rear wheels through a 5-speed manual transmission.
