2012 Audi TTRS, finished in Phantom Black with a black interior. Reviewed by The Smoking Tire in 2015, this TTRS has been extensively modified by 034Motorsport. The list of modifications made by the firm includes an engine tune, Density Line engine and transmission mounts, rear subframe inserts, adjustable front and rear sway bar links, and stainless-steel braided brake lines. The full list of aftermarket parts installed on this TTRS is provided below.Factory equipment includes 19-inch wheels, Audi's S magnetic ride suspension system, an RS-specific exhaust system, leather upholstery, plus heated and power-adjustable front sport seats.Audi introduced the second-generation TT for 2006. Again offered as a coupe and as a convertible, it was slightly longer and wider than its predecessor yet it weighed about 200 pounds less thanks in part to a greater percentage of aluminum. Additionally, engineers placed more of the weight over the rear axle to give the TT more balanced handling. It remained positioned as the company's style icon.Audi released the original TTRS as a quicker and more engaging evolution of the second-generation TT for 2012. Offered only as a coupe, the RS benefited from a sonorous 5-cylinder engine, suspension upgrades, and a specific body kit. 1,407 units were sold in America during the 2012 and the 2013 model years, according to Audi. 640 were 2012 models and only 140 were painted in Phantom Black.Power comes from a 2.5-liter turbocharged 5-cylinder engine, rated at 360 horsepower and 343 lb-ft of torque when left stock. The modifications reportedly increase horsepower to 540, but a dyno sheet is not available. Part of the "TFSI" family, the engine spins the 4 wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission and Audi's permanent Quattro all-wheel-drive system.
