2008 Hummer H3 Alpha, finished in black with a Light Cashmere interior. Factory equipment includes running boards, skid plates, front recovery loops, chrome exterior trim, a power sunroof leather upholstery, heated, power-adjustable front seats, air conditioning, cruise control, an AM/FM/CD radio, and a Monsoon audio system.Modifications include 20-inch TIS Offroad wheels with 33-inch tires, a 2.5-inch lift kit with Monroe Reflex shocks, and stickers on the rear window.Launched in 2005 during the heat of America's obsession with big, body-on frame SUVs, the H3 served as the entry-level Hummer. Loosely based on Chevy's Colorado pickup, the chassis was strengthened for off-road duty, and full-time four-wheel drive, a two-speed transfer case, and full skid plates were added to ensure the smallest Hummer didn't stray from the brand's history of go-anywhere capability. Production ended with the demise of the standalone Hummer brand in 2010.Power comes from a Vortec 5.3-liter V8 engine, rated at 300 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to all four wheels via a 4-speed automatic transmission and a 2-speed transfer case.
