1979 Volkswagen Thing Convertible White. is finished in white over black vinyl and powered by a 1.6-liter flat-four mated to a four-speed manual transaxle. Has a black convertible top and side courtains, a hinged windshield, folding rear seat backs and 15” wheels.The body was refinished in white about a year ago. The black convertible top and matching side windows where replaced with new canvas less than a year ago. Car has a hinged windshield, new motor wiper motor, black bumpers, dual long arm mirrors and a single exhaust outlet.The front wheels wear 205/65 R15 tires and 215/65 R15 on the rear. The front bucket seats, rear beach and extra cushion seat are trimmed in black vinyl. The rear seat backs can be folded, floor is covered with back rubber. There is no sign of oxidation.
