Finished in white with a gray interior. This Legacy is a 30th Anniversary Edition "L" model (special equipment includes a sunroof and 15-inch alloy wheels), and is also equipped with Subaru's full-time all-wheel-drive system, air conditioning, cruise control, and more as described below. The second-generation Legacy was first introduced to North America for the 1993 model year, and by 1996, as a direct result of the Outback model's overwhelming success, Subaru began offering all-wheel drive as a standard feature on all of their cars. The Legacy was offered in sedan and wagon form in a variety of trim levels, with automatic and manual transmission options. Power comes from an "EJ22" 2.2-liter flat-4, rated at 142 horsepower and 149 lb-ft of torque. Output is shuttled to all four wheels through a 4-speed automatic transmission.
