Again offered as a coupe and as a convertible, it borrowed a handful of heritage-laced styling cues from its predecessors without wading into retro-styled territory.Ford and Shelby resurrected the vaunted GT350 nameplate on a more track-capable evolution of the "S550" Mustang for 2016. Positioned near the top of the range, the GT350 gained a naturally-aspirated V8 engine with a flat-plane crankshaft, a MagneRide suspension system, and a model-specific body kit, among several other upgrades. "S550" production continues in 2022 but the GT350 retired after 2020.Power comes from a 5.2-liter "Voodoo" V8, rated at 526 horsepower and 429 lb-ft of torque. It spins the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission.
