1998 Mercedes-Benz C43 AMG, finished in black with a black interior. Called W202 internally, the model received its first AMG-developed evolution for 1995 and it later gained a V8 and the C43 designation in a bid to lure enthusiasts away from the BMW M3 -- Mercedes-Benz had never put such a big engine in a small car before. Production of the W202 ended in 2000.Power comes from an "M113" 4.3-liter V8, rated at 302 horsepower and 302 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the rear wheels via a 5-speed automatic transmission.
