The range included F-250, F-350, and F-450 models available in a dizzying number of configurations including stripped-out workhorses and lavish highway cruisers. All had at least one thing in common: they were built specifically for towing and hauling. Ford replaced the available 7.3-liter turbodiesel V8 with a 6.0-liter unit after the 2003 model year.Power comes from a 7.3-liter "Power Stroke" turbodiesel V8, rated at 235 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the rear wheels through a 4-speed automatic transmission.
