1997 Acura 2.2CL, finished in Cyclone Blue Metallic with a Classy Grey leather interior. This 2.2CL features the Premium trim package, which adds leather upholstery on the seats, on the door panels, and on the steering wheel, plus a power-adjustable driver’s seat. Standard equipment includes 16-inch alloy wheels, cruise control, automatic climate control, and an AM/FM radio with single in-dash CD player, among other features.Introduced for the 1996 model year, and built in the United States, the first-generation CL was intended to pick up where the Legend coupe left off the previous year. It was offered with either a 3.0-liter V6 or a 2.2-liter 4-cylinder engine, front-wheel-drive, front and rear independent double wishbone suspension, and 4-wheel disc brakes.Power comes from an "F22B1" 2.2-liter 4-cylinder engine, which produces 145 horsepower and 147 lb-ft of torque. It was the first F-series engine to feature VTEC variable valve timing. It spins the front wheels via a 4-speed automatic transmission.
