1997 Mercedes-Benz S600 Coupe, finished in black with a gray interior.T Highly optioned, this S600 is equipped with 16-inch wheels, Mercedes-Benz's Adaptive Damping System (ADS) technology, double-pane windows, wood interior trim, heated and power-adjustable front seats, a cassette player, and a car phone in the center console, according to a build sheet pictured in the gallery. Service records shown in the gallery detail most of the repairs and maintenance performed on this S600 during the seller's ownership. The engine oil, the engine oil filter, the brake fluid, the transmission mount, and the tires were changed in March 2021, among other components. The results of an inspection performed at the same time are also in the gallery.Mercedes-Benz rebooted the S-Class for 1992. Called "W140" internally, the new model was one of the firm's last over-engineered models and one of the first that relied extensively on electronics. It came standard with dual-pane windows that made the cabin quieter (fair warning: they're not bulletproof) and it inaugurated a V12 later used in the "R129" generation of the SL. 1993 brought the "C140" coupe and production ended in 1998.Power comes from a 6.0-liter V12, rated at 389 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque. Called "M120" internally, it spins the rear wheels via a 5-speed automatic transmission.
