It lived up to its flagship positioning with a long list of luxury and technology features, including an Active Body Control (ABC) suspension system. In addition to a hand-built supercharged engine, the CL55 AMG gained a model-specific exterior design that remained relatively subtle. Production ended in 2006.Power comes from a supercharged 5.4-liter V8, rated at 493 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque when left stock. The seller states that the modifications increase horsepower to 550, but a dyno sheet is not available. Called "M113" internally, the engine spins the rear wheels via a 5-speed automatic transmission.
