2015 Mercedes-Benz SL550, finished in Mars Red with a body-colored hardtop and a Porcelain and black interior. According to the build sheet provided in the gallery, this SL550 cost $115,065 new. Factory equipment includes the AMG Styling, Driver Assistance, and Sport Wheel packages, a power-operated hardtop with a transparent roof panel, Active Park Assist, bi-xenon headlights, leather upholstery, and a Harman Kardon LOGIC7 surround sound system. Modifications reported by the seller are limited to black paint on the wheels and on some of the exterior trim pieces.Mercedes-Benz launched the R231-generation SL for 2013 with revised styling and weight conservation of about 300 pounds, thanks in part to the widespread use of aluminum. The two-seater came standard with a power-operated hardtop, offered buyers a longer list of tech features, and was available with a wide palette of powertrains ranging from a V6 to a V12. Production ended in 2020.Power comes from a 4.7-liter twin-turbocharged V8, rated at 429 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. Called "M278" internally, it spins the rear wheels via a 7-speed automatic transmission.
