2008 Acura TL Type-S, finished in Nighthawk Black Pearl with a black interior. This Type-S is equipped with the desirable 6-speed manual transmission. Factory equipment includes 17-inch wheels, fog lights, a Type-S-specific rear spoiler, a sunroof, leather upholstery, plus heated and power-adjustable front seats.Modifications reported by the seller include the installation of Tein Flex Z coilovers, a resonator delete from the exhaust system, and a custom-made "Type-S" armrest cover.Service records shown in the gallery detail most of the repairs, maintenance and modifications performed on this TL during the seller's ownership. The engine oil and filter and the brake pads and rotors were changed in July 2021 at 146,797 miles, and the timing belt and water pump were replaced in August 2020 at 136,012 miles.Acura's third-generation TL arrived for 2004 with a more chiseled exterior design, a generous list of standard features, and a better weight distribution. The sporty Type-S model was resurrected for the 2007 model year and benefitted from a then-new V6 shared with the bigger RL, and a firmer suspension system, among other upgrades. Production ended in 2008.Power comes from a 3.5-liter V6, rated at 286 horsepower and 256 lb-ft of torque. It spins the front wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission.
