2008 BMW M3 Convertible, finished in Silverstone II Metallic with a black interior. This M3 is equipped with the desirable 6-speed manual transmission. According to the build sheet in the gallery, this M3 came equipped with the Lights Package, adaptive suspension, a power-retractable hardtop, heated and power-adjustable front seats with driver's side memory function, automatic climate control, Comfort Access system, and a navigation system, among others listed below.Modifications are numerous and include a VF Engineering VF620 supercharger, BE rod bearings and ARP rod bolts, a CSF high-performance aluminum oil cooler, a Megan Racing exhaust system, black-painted 19-inch Style 359 wheels, yellow-painted brake calipers, carbon fiber exterior trim, a Rogue Engineering short shift kit, and more as detailed below.BMW had to balance horsepower and weight as it developed the first M3 equipped with a V8 engine. Released for 2008 and based on the "E90"-generation 3 Series, it won over skeptical enthusiasts by offering performance that approached supercar levels in a practical, daily-drivable package. The convertible, called the "E93," featured a retractable hardtop for coupe-like aesthetics when the top is raised.Power comes from a 4.0-liter "S65" V8, rated at 414 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque in stock form. A supercharger has been added, and while a dyno sheet is not provided, VF Engineering claims that the kit raises power to over 600 horsepower and about 400 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission.
